Happy Planner Freebie - Movies To Watch Insert

Happy Monday!

Since I had surgery on Friday we spent the weekend in. It was a nice break from our normal hustle and bustle on the weekends. We watched movies, built blanket forts, played Mario Cart and indulged in homemade cinnamon rolls. It was a great weekend!

We watched Beauty and the Beast, Monster's Inc., Tinkerbell and the Neverland Beast AND one of my favorites, Hocus Pocus, TWICE! Can you see the trend here? Yes, yes, ALL Disney movies! We are going on our trip soon so I thought why not start getting excited?

I made this "Movies To Watch" insert to make sure I don't miss any movies I want the kids to watch again before we go to Disney.

Want to start your own movies to watch list?

Happy Planner FREEBIE - Disney Packing List

Greetings planner babes and dudes!

Yes... Yes, I am still here. I know I know. It has been while since I have posted. Let's just say it has been a ROUGH month. Instead of going into all of my woes, I am going to focus on something positive and down right exciting in my book.

DISNEY!

We are going to Disney! Yayyyyyyyyyyyy! Our package is paid for and our dining reservations have been made. Our fastpasses for the new Frozen Ever After ride have even been procured. (We will not wait for 3 hours for this ride!) I just received a reminder from the airline to check in 24 hours before our flight. The the stroller company has our order ready to go... (No tired mini dictators for us!)

Everything is planned! What is left? PACKING...  Most people from what I have noticed complain and dislike packing. I love it! I love it because well, it means I am going on vacation soon. I will get to leave the real world behind and travel to the happiest place on earth with my loved ones.

When we travel, I pack for myself and my two youngest. Let's face it... dad only packs for himself. I am NOT complaining though, because in our house dad is in charge of packing the car. I don't like packing the car. So basically it is a win/win for me!

To make sure I pack everything we need I keep a list. Common sense right? You would be surprised how many people don't use a packing list! GASP! Don't get me wrong, nothing is wrong with flying by the seat of your pants, BUT I need the list. I know that if I attempted to fly by the seat of my pants, I would FORGET to pack said pants or worse, underwear. No bueno.

Another great thing about keeping a packing list is that it will aid you in all of your Pinterest research. There are a TON of awesome blogs out there about things you need to pack (things you never thought of) for your Disney vacation.

Now when you read something you think would benefit your family during your trip, of course you can still pin it, BUT now you can also add it to your packing list. This way nothing slips thru the cracks and you aren't searching thru a million blogs for the one thing you know you wanted to pack but can't quite remember!

Are you planning a trip to Disney? Here is your very own Disney packing list for your Happy planner! Don't forget that I can help you plan your Disney trip! My Disney planning services are FREE!

Reasons to Give Planner/Bullet Journal Doodling a Try

I love to doodle. I've been doodling my entire life. Growing up and even now you won't see a clean margin in any notebook or accounting report. (Oooooops...) I am no artist but I enjoy doodling and here are the reasons why you should give it a try.

Don't judge my professionalism! HA!

1. It can relieve stress. Adult coloring books have taken the world by storm. Doodle up your planner and color them in! It's therapeutic I tell ya!

2. Save money on stickers and doodle your own decorations. Don't get me wrong I love stickers. I love buying them from all the awesome sellers on Etsy, but it can become expensive, especially when factoring in shipping costs.

3. Less to cart around! All you need to doodle is your planner/bullet journal and a pen!

4. Customizable. Want to track water consumption in your planner or bullet journal? Learn to doodle a water bottle or go even easier and doodle tear drops! Do you need sticker of a book for your book club nights? Nah! Draw it yourself! The possibilities are endless!

5. It's easy to learn to doodle. The Internet is full of doodle images. If you are looking for something in particular, Google search for it. Once you have found one you like, learn to doodle it! Use the image as a template and trace it the first few times if you have to!

6. Cover up mistakes with DOODLES! Urg... Nothing is worse than making a mistake in my bullet journal/planner. It's the neurotic perfectionist in me. I use doodles to cover up typos. It's not perfect but better.

7. Doodles work amazingly well as signifiers. I use a doodled dog to signify appointments for our furry family members or a doodled house on my task list for things I need to accomplish at home.

See? Anyone CAN doodle. I am NO artist... obviously!

8. Doodling is a FREE and an easy way to personalize your planners and bullet journals! I am always looking for ways make my planners/bullet journals "my own." Doodling is a great way to let your creativity flow!

Give doodling a try! You might like it!
